Hotel Playafels - Castelldefels

The breakfast had a delicious buffet with a variety of options to start the day right.

The pool area was not adequately maintained, with broken umbrellas and unclean floors that detracted from the experience.

We exctemelly liked the location - close to Barcelona (bus stop just round the corner, the train stop is close by), direct access to the beach from the swimming pool area, attentive and helpful staff, good breakfast

First impression (a bit tear-down condition), unstable wi-fi, slow speed of connection

I didn't like the cleaness in the rooms - (1 day I didn't have the cleaning in a room at all) and quality of claning is not good (too much sand on the floor after the cleaning), and dirung 2 days I didn't have hot water at all.

Helpful staff, savoury choice for breakfast. A romantic and pretty standard hotel, my first choice in Castelldefels.

The apartment was clean and as described. The room itself was well designed with a high standard of fixtures and fittings. It said it was on the beach and it was on the beach. The location was wondeful, great for relaxing and young children. The locals in the area were helpful and overall this was a great hotel and a great holiday.

It was not easy to comunicate in english to the hotel reception and they were not very knowledgable on the local amenities. This is a minor issue we would stay in the hotel again and would recommend to family and friends.

Privacy in room layouts

The location is prime, around 10-15 minutes walk from Tabacs Tobacco Shop. The breakfast choices are savoury and sensational with fruits and amazing views, as for instance. The services are exceptional, including a clean pool.

Big comfortable beds, clean, nice view, friendly helpful staff, private car park, air conditioning.

Bit of noise when neighbors try to close those big doors, previous occupant emptied the minibar and filled up with water so we could have paid for them but the staff understood the case, not international channel on TV, internet a big slaggish but free.

Beachfront escape with surprises

Waking to the sound of waves was divine. The hotel's beachfront access is fantastic and the staff, especially the concierge.

The noise from nearby bars was distracting, especially at night. I wish I had brought earplugs, as the partying went on until the early morning hours.

Just that it was close to the beach. But they advertse free wi fi and they don't have it, the pctures are not of the rooms they gave us and the swimming pool was 300 ms far in another building.The rooms were cleaned everyday but always very very unclean!

Worst place in Europe! Don't go there even if they pay you! Better a tent!

Very clean rooms. Staff at the reception is very helpful. The bus stop is just few meters from the hotel and you can easily reach the center of Barcelona in 40 min. Breakfast is ok, there is also plenty of decent restaurants around hotel. Lovely place for couples and families.

There are no sunbeds on the beach, pool is small, soundproofing is bad.

Bathroom layouts need more privacy!!! Noise disturbances from nearby nightlife can be disruptive!!! Wi-Fi quality is downright frustrating!!! The lack of a pool bar seems like a major oversight for guest enjoyment!!!

The hotel is very close to an endless and wide beach, which apparently atttracts a lot of people in summer months. Some works on the beach have turned it into a very nice walking area. Good restaurants can be found around or in the neighbor village. The hotel, as such, needs badly renovation. We rented a Delux apartment for 4 days, which was ok except that its bathroom was in terrible hygienic situation and the rooms were on a side street at street level, at a distance from the hotel.There are better hotels in the area. For example bel air, which has also a very good restaurant, and is in front of the beach, for those who would appreciate it.

We had a grand time at this place! The shower was absolutely phenomenal, and the view from our room was just stunning, overlooking the beach. Unfortunately, the chairs on the balcony were a bit uncomfortable, but it didn't ruin our stay at all.
